RAILA'S NEW AU JOB AND ITS EFFECTS Indeed Raila is a statesman who has many tittles and still adding more to his name tag, the most recent one being his appointment to the AU. He is set to be the AU REPRESENTATIVE FOR INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT. Based in Addis ababa Ethiopia he will oversee implementation of projects aimed at boosting infrastructure such as road networks and high speed rails across African countries. It is indeed an influential position that leaves most kenyans wondering whether he would be able to balance it with his current pact with President Uhuru Kenyatta of the building bridges initiative and his future ambitions of occupying the highest office in the land. However some of his close allies are confident that this is not a cause for alarm considering the Odinga influence and his ability to multi-task and handle issues remotely. Allow me talk about the power that lies in books in this short article. These are resorces created by man for man. No animal reads books, no trees do read book, not even the most complex machines made by man ever read book. It is only human who do read books written by their fellow humans. Irrespective of the category, the information in each and every article gives the reader and insight,if not a guided tour through the author's mind and is able to share in his thoughts and learn something if not improve on whatever he or she already knows. It would not be wise if I would talk about publications without stating that each and every piece of writing is built on a feeling, belief, experience, dreams and even expectations that may be in the foreseeable future or a historical phenomenon that inspires one to pen it down for others to read.
